Right in the middle of the third Viennese district, not far from a market, Zoran Bodrozic, Andreas Pacher and Andreas Heizeneder have created an extraordinary city villa amidst buildings from the founding period.

A jungle in the vineyards on a manor, and all of it with gourmet cuisine ...

With its subtle gray brick façade, the building sets a calm, natural accent and blends discreetly into the sheltered cul-de-sac. Old trees, surrounding vineyards, and the proximity to the Vienna Woods create an atmosphere in which nature noticeably pushes the city into the background.

Built in the 19th century as a residential palace, this building tells its story from the outside. The richly structured façade with its balustrades gives a glimpse of the splendor hidden inside.

High above the rooftops of the 7th district, this extraordinary terrace presents itself - although "terrace" does not really do justice to this well-thought-out outdoor space.

With the opening of the first and only fine-dining restaurant in Tulln’s historic old town, Christian Wöber sets a strong statement—both gastronomically and in terms of design. The high-quality interior architecture of the dining space, defined by a sculptural bar by Breitwieser, is consistently extended into the outdoor area.

Originally constructed in 1906, the building underwent a comprehensive attic conversion in 2002, gaining a new architectural dimension through GERNER GERNER PLUS. The existing attic was completely removed and replaced with a contemporary new structure.

In close proximity to the Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark, the newly constructed building continues the vastness of the surroundings in the penthouse with impressive ease. The open-plan apartment is visually enlarged by two front terraces. True to the motto of Mies van der Rohe, the exterior and interior space blend together, creating a feeling of living in the green.

High above the sea, on a sun-drenched hillside, a garden unfolds that captures the very essence of Ibiza in a unique way. The infinity pool blends seamlessly into the horizon, where sky and water merge into an endless line — a place where time seems to stand still.

On this extraordinary and correspondingly extraordinarily equipped penthouse terrace in downtown Vienna, one barely has a sense for the beautiful view.

The never-ending view of the Neue Donau and the Kahlenberg presents a different picture every day. Just like the imposing view of the modern Donau City, it naturally has its justification for this.

A rooftop terrace is more than an outdoor space - it is an extension of the living area, a place of tranquility and encounter. The conscious decision to let it grow in stages allows for a finely tuned design that harmoniously adapts to architecture and surroundings.

You can experience half the world in this extraordinary place - the better half. The entire area covers around 40 hectares, so calling the garden spacious does not do it justice.

The project extends over three floors of an old Viennese residential building in block edge construction. The recurring use of the same material creates a coherent design that connects the individual floors with each other.

The plants selected for this location grow benevolently towards the sun on this terrace. In shades of yellow, the outdoor furniture visually charcterises the terrace.

The center of this roof terrace is adorned with blue Paola Lenti furniture.

Anyone who works hard also needs a lot of time off and fresh air in between.

I will be up there then! Because there is (almost) nothing on this roof that you cannot find in a classic garden. Above the sea of houses in Vienna, this (roof) garden combines a bit of city with a lot of nature, all at a dizzying height.

Down the slope, past dense strips of grass and planted areas, the view opens up towards the lake.

The task was to “freshen up” an existing city apartment on the outskirts of Vienna in collaboration with the interior designer Cordier.

You want to find quietude on a terrace and the slat wall and the dense planting around the wooden deck provide that privacy here.

This wooden terrace looking on to Wörthersee lake is framed by a variety of planted pots. The multi-stemmed pine and holly keep their foliage all year round and grace the patio even in the colder months.

The specifications of this two-storey roof terrace initially seemed simple: to maximize the greenery while also maximizing the usable space for dining, cooking, bathing and lounging.

A beautiful unobstructed view of the Prater from a terrace where you don't have to forego privacy. Different shrubs and plants in (frost-proof) plant troughs offer a closed, protected atmosphere.

The inner courtyards are very centrally located in this property and are strongly integrated into an architectural framework due to the surrounding floors. The potential for creating a high-quality outdoor space was therefore recognized.

Matching ceramic pots with carefully selected plants create a Mediterranean atmosphere on this terrace.

This roof terrace is split over two areas: One side offers a ‘real’ garden area with fruit trees, lawn and vegetable patch, while the other presents a ‘classic’ roof terrace with a wooden deck, lounge area, luxurious stainless-steel pool and functional outdoor kitchen.

A roof garden was created on two levels with different areas in wood and gravel. Individual areas of the terraces were planted with sedum and grasses, while larger plants grow in partially colourful ceramic pots.

An urban roof garden with Corten steel raised beds, organic ceramic pots by Atelier Vierkant and light balls on wooden decks is connected by stepping stones and surrounded by sedum. Smaller trees provide spatial separation, while an awning spans the entire dining area of the terrace.

A roof terrace with a glass balustrade was decked with wood and slate tiles and decorated with high-quality ceramic planters.

The terrace, bordered by a glass railing, offers a wonderful view over the city. Gravel and planted areas are alternated, while larger plants are housed in ceramic pots.
