The historic building on the site of the former Capuchin monastery in Vienna’s Neubau district has been complemented by a modern attic extension. The living area extends over two levels, topped by a spectacular rooftop terrace with a 360-degree view of the city.
Inside the apartment, you completely forget that you are in the densely built-up seventh district. Tall windows and generous ceiling heights flood the open-plan areas with light. The terraces in front visually extend the interior and create flowing transitions between inside and outside.
Each terrace features seating and lush planting. Ground-level beds are complemented by high-quality ceramic planters. The IPE wood decking provides a durable and resilient surface. The warm wood is also echoed in custom-made fireplace surrounds and storage boxes. Strategically placed mirrors further enlarge the outdoor spaces and create striking sightlines.
Paola Lenti outdoor furniture adds colorful accents. Sports enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth here: the stylishly integrated outdoor gym by Ethimo inspires design and sports lovers alike and motivates daily exercise.
