Garden Architecture
Our team of garden architects plans and implements gardens and terraces, in which nature and design form a unity.
Our passion for garden architecture is reflected in the connection of garden, landscape, and architecture. Inspired by classic modernism, especially the iconic works of architects like Richard Neutra and the Case Study Houses, we create gardens and outdoor spaces characterized by clear lines, open spaces, and the harmonious integration of indoor and outdoor areas.
Our range of services includes consultation, planning, and implementation of individual garden concepts.
Working in collaboration with renowned architects, we realize garden and landscape projects tailored to the needs and style of our clients.
From the initial vision to the drafting process to the architectural implementation, we guide you on the journey to your ideal garden. Garden architecture first requires a clear idea and a good concept. Only when this has been clarified in a trusting dialogue, do we move on to the specific designs as well as the precise planning and construction.
In personal conversations, we clarify individual ideas and various implementation options, and deal with the space and its conditions such as existing structures and terrain shape.
Step by step, sketches and designs are created, suggestions for plant selection, for the use of different materials, and for the selection of suitable furniture, lighting and decoration elements.
The implementation and completion of the project are in the hands of our experienced team, which ensures a smooth and timely execution. This results in vibrant gardens and landscapes that sustainably connect architecture and nature and permanently enliven outdoor spaces.
How we work
1. look + talk
Tell us about your dream garden. We take time for your ideas and wishes. In a first conversation, we also take a close look at your existing garden or terrace.
2. plan + calculate
Together with you, our specialists develop a first concept for garden, landscape and architecture. From design to material selection to planting. Initial sketches and plant suggestions make our ideas and suggestions tangible for you.
If our initial drafts convince you, we work out your ideas into a detailed overall plan. This is supplemented by a detailed cost estimate, which we optimize together and adapt to your needs and possibilities.
3. release + build
Once the initial fundamental questions have been clarified and you feel understood, we get started and begin implementation. This starts with the basics. Unwanted old stock is removed, the garden is completely redesigned from scratch.
We work quickly and considerately to keep the construction phase as short and smooth as possible.
4. develop + complete
Once the basis is established, the details come. Floors and paths, technical installations - such as irrigation, pool technology and lighting - make your garden usable and enliven the outdoor space.
5. plant + set up
The heart of every garden follows at the end: grasses, flowers, trees and hedges are set, the lawn is laid out. Your garden takes its final shape and comes to life.
And since a beautiful garden should invite you to linger, we give it the final - or rather your personal - touch with selected furniture and carefully arranged details.
6. take Over + live In
Your garden is ready. After the joint acceptance, it belongs entirely to you.
But let's be honest: a garden is never finished. We are happy to continue to assist you with maintenance, refreshment and upkeep.
Thus, vibrant gardens and sustainable landscapes that connect architecture and nature are created.
Kramer and Kramer garden architecture is a place for good ideas and big plans, for design and architecture, for beautiful plants and individual gardens. A place for the beauty around us.
