Opening of the Kramer Werkhalle with Hermann Nitsch's Walküre
The "Kramer Werkhalle" at Kramer and Kramer Homebase in Zöfing is a space for art, garden culture, and design, a new place for discovery and encounter. In annually changing exhibitions, nature, architecture, and contemporary artistic positions are intended to enter into dialogue here.
For the opening, works from Hermann Nitsch's extensive painting action for Richard Wagner's "Die Walküre" are on display. The impressive floor and wall pour paintings were created in 2021 as a scenic accompaniment to a series of concert performances as part of the Bayreuth Festival. All three acts of the "Walküre" were accompanied by Hermann Nitsch, who transformed the Wagnerian score scene by scene into vibrant colors.
In collaboration with the Nitsch Foundation, a space-related presentation is being created in the Werkhalle and in Kramer and Kramer's Garden of uniqueTrees.
